Jack Schmehil, President

Territories: Commonwealth Edison and Exelon Nuclear

Jack is the president of MC Sales.  Jack has over 30 years of experience in serving the electric power industry in a variety of positions including manufacturing, high voltage testing, sales management, and most recently as owner of MC Sales.  He is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in marketing.  Jack has been married to his wife, Diane, for 30 years and they have two children.  In his spare time he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.  Jack is a long time active member of IEEE and EERA.

Karl Berggreen

Territories: All clients in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin

Karl came on board in November of 2005 and has over 15 years of experience in the electrical industry.  He spent 11 years with ASCO Power Technologies and worked in field sales responsible for accounts in Minnesota and the Dakotas.  He also operated a satellite office several years in Kansas City with Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska as his territory.  He is a graduate of Dunwoody Industrial Institute and has a degree in Business Management from Metropolitan State University.  Karl enjoys playing guitar, golfing, skiing, hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his wife, Katie, and family.

Nancy Downs

Inside Sales Manager

Nancy came to MC Sales in July of 1992.  Prior to joining MC Sales, Nancy worked at RESCO in Middleton for 12 years.  She has nearly 25 years of experience with the utility, municipal, and cooperative markets.  Nancy handles inside sales requests working closely with the customer as well as the manufacturer.  She resides in Verona with her husband, Mark, and their three children.  Nancy's hobbies include spending time with her family, spending time at their cabin, cross-country skiing, gardening, and camping.

Jim Lynch

Territories: Utility, Municipal, and REC Customers in WI & UP of MI

Jim came to MC Sales in July 1997 and has over 20 years of sales and account management experience.  Prior to joining the MC Sales team, Jim managed industrial accounts in southeastern Wisconsin for a manufacturer of material handling equipment.  He currently manages municipal, co-op and investor owned utility accounts in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Jim is very active in the utility industry, has recently served as president of the Wisconsin Utility Suppliers Association and is active with the EERA.  Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and still resides in the Milwaukee area with his wife, Karen, and son, Ben.  In his spare time, Jim enjoys golf, basketball, golf, softball, golf, tennis, golf, traveling and golf.

Michael Hayden

Territories: All clients in northern Illinois and NW Indiana

Michael joined MC Sales in November of 2007.  Michael has over 20 years of industrial sales experience.  For the last 15 years, he has served as sales manager / manufacturer's representative for a rep agency representing diverse manufacturers of custom and engineered industrial products, calling on OEM's and their correlating dealer/distributor networks in the industrial, municipal, and utility markets.  Michael is a graduate of North Central College in Naperville, IL with a BA in marketing. Michael resides with his wife and son in the Chicago metro area.  Michael is physical fitness enthusiast and enjoys football, baseball & basketball.

Jay Roufs

Territories: All clients in North & South Dakota

Jay Roufs recently joined MC Sales Inc. on July 9th 2007.  Jay is based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and will be serving our valued customers in North and South Dakota.  Jay has been a sales professional for over 15 years and previously was a manufacturers' rep for Cronatron Welding Systems.  Jay is a graduate from the University of Sioux Falls and still resides in the Sioux Falls area with his wife, Rhonda, and two children, Madeline and Frederick.  Jay enjoys playing golf, hockey, softball, snowmobiling, and most of all, spending time with him family.

Luke Schmehil

Territories: WE Energies and the industrial/commercial clients in WI and UP of MI

Luke came to MC Sales in August of 2003.  Prior to joining MC Sales, Luke obtained his Bachelors degree in marketing/sales from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  Luke earned his Masters degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  Luke currently manages the industrial market in Wisconsin as well as WE Energies.  Luke enjoys golfing, basketball, and spending time with his family.

Karen Breidenbach

Inside Sales Support

Karen joined MC Sales in October of 1995.  Her duties include inside sales assistance and accounting responsibilities.  Karen lives in Oregon with her husband, John, and they have three boys.  Most of her spare time is spent traveling and watching her boys on their soccer and basketball teams.  She also enjoys scrap-booking, biking, and gardening.
